Provide Network Administration support for the network operations for CAOC. The candidate shall conduct analysis, recommendation, installation, configuration, monitoring, O&M of hardware and software as needed to continuously maintain and enhance organizational networks/domains.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end system for the network to include but not limited to facility cable plant, layer 2 and 3 devices, intrusion detection system (IDS), encryption devices, modeling and simulation, configuration management
- Support in performing and managing all communications security (COMSEC) related activities required to operate and maintain required encryption devices Support in providing desktop/server and software application integration support
- Support in system configuration management
- Support all circuit actions as required Ensure a secure operating environment by monitoring network administration access and adherence to established policies and procedures
- Provide technical assistance in support of all assigned projects pertaining to network inter-operability and integration requirements
- Support desktop/server and software network connectivity.
- Perform and resolve problems associated with hardware and network systems
- Support and maintain network monitoring and analysis tools
- Support in the detection of network problems Support account management and work with the ISM
- Support software and firmware maintenance on network devices
- DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
- Associate’s degree in computer science or Networking OR 2+ years of networking experience
- Must have an active Secret clearance or above
