The After Sales Service Center of BYD Europe is dedicated to managing all service and maintenance-related matters for our fully electric buses, trucks, and passenger cars. Our responsibilities encompass building a robust service network across Europe, including the Minor Asia region and the Balkans, providing technical support to customers and service providers, assisting the sales department with life cycle cost calculations, developing the spare parts business, and delivering comprehensive training programs. The core mission of the After Sales department is to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer for Passenger Cars business to join our After Sales team. This role is crucial in providing technical service and support to our service providers and customers, contributing significantly to the success and efficiency of our after-sales operations.
Responsibilities:
- Regional Technical Support: Provide timely technical solutions through the service portal, remote diagnostics, and onsite support in the Ukraine market.
- Regular Regional Visits: Organize meetings, workshops, and other activities with regional partners and headquarters to continuously enhance regional technical capabilities.
- Onsite Technical Training: Organize and conduct onsite technical training for new product launches, level training programs, and on-the-job training programs in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Fault Reporting: Collect and report information on typical fault tendencies, the latest and critical faults, and promote instant solutions to quality problem
- Technical Documentation: Develop and release technical notices and document typical technical repair cases.
- Special Event Management: Provide timely onsite support with quick solutions, conduct technical research and analysis according to stakeholder instructions, and respond instantly to special events.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in local language, English and Chinese Mandarin;
- Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills and cross-functional coordination ability.
- Technical Background: NEV (New Energy Vehicle) technical background is preferable.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and to China.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
