Our client is a reputable, family run business that specialises in Rigid Packaging. The business creates premium primary packaging for beauty and wellness brands to help clients stand out on the shelf. It's more than just packaging - it's about protecting what clients' have built. That's why they bring together creativity, packaging technology, and an ongoing system of care to deliver premium solutions that elevates and maintains their clients brand - without the risk.

They are now looking to recruit a Managing Director to lead the business to double turnover to £20M and achieve EBITDA of 20% through comprehensive improvements across all areas of the organisation, including sales, operations, commercial strategy, innovation, and team performance. You will be based in their head office in East Kilbride, Glasgow

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a growth strategy aligned with premium positioning in beauty and wellness packaging.
  • Commercial Growth: Expand market share through new business development, strategic partnerships, and enhanced client relationships.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across manufacturing, supply chain, and customer experience.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and margin optimization to achieve profitability targets.
  • Innovation & Product Development: Champion innovation in premium primary packaging solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure sustainability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Financial Performance: Deliver financial objectives: turnover of £20M and EBITDA of 20%

Requirements

  • Proven track record of scaling a business to significant growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with financial literacy with experience in EBITDA-focused strategies
  • Expertise in operational improvement and change management.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills

Benefits

  • Salary- £120,000- £150,000 basic
  • Profit related bonus
