As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for the project management of key strategic projects that will change the direction of our UK business. The portfolio of projects will be transformational and see you working with stakeholders across the business to deliver from concept to successful implementation and transfer to business as usual.
We’ll look to you to bring your proven experience of managing strategic projects within a fast paced environment, ideally with retail or hospitality experience. You’ll be experienced in different project management approaches and planning techniques, with the ability to drive multiple stakeholders and project team members at pace. You’ll have experience of working on multiple projects at one time, managing key workstreams, project risks and constraints whilst having the ability to navigate in ambiguous environments. You’ll have proven experience of being an agent of change, building strong relationships with the ability to story tell and share the bigger picture to drive decision making.
About
The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as our project manager, you’ll get involved in:
- Project planning, RAID management and control
- Managing adherence to the governance framework and escalation tolerances
- Managing the stakeholder community through programme reporting and updates, 121 engagements and collaborative efforts with your teams
- Ensuring measurement of project successes, business case benefit and budgetary controls are embedded into project execution
- Financial tracking and cost management within project delivery as well as benefits measurement and tracking mechanisms post project implementation
- Rallying the team to keep them focused on achieving stated business and project goals
- Influence and drive EMEA functional support where needed
- Identify creative solutions to any obstacles or blockers that could compromise the successful execution of strategic projects
- Support the team in maturing the project management capability across the business
- Supporting in establishing an improved standardised process and governance for managing projects in the business
