Job Purpose
As the Content & Social Media Specialist Belgium, you will be part of the Benelux Digital Marketing Team and report into the Digital Marketing Manager Benelux. In a nutshell, you are responsible for managing and optimizing onsite and ecommerce content, overseeing campaign and website enhancements, and coordinating both organic and paid social media as well as performance marketing activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency, drive digital innovation, and deliver engaging experiences for our audience across multiple channels.
You have a passion for growth and efficiency using data & insights. You can think in a creative and commercial way while at the same time understanding analytics & dashboarding. By doing this, you can connect business goals with technology/data development.
In addition, you bring strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are adept at writing and editing compelling content tailored for diverse platforms and have a keen understanding of SEO best practices and social media trends. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are essential, as is proficiency in relevant marketing tools and platforms. Experience with content management systems (CMS), basic graphic design, and video editing is a plus. You are proactive, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn and stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Onsite Content & Ecommerce Management
- Onsite product edits (webshop manager): manage delistings, change packs, product launches & recipe changes on our UFS.com website (Unilever Food Solutions).
- Onsite campaign edits (campaign manager):
- Etalage homepage, campaign messages, banner planning
- Event related landingpages & forms
- Website optimisation (SEO, UX/UI, AB testing) – in collaboration with the Global Digital Marketing Team
- Social Media & Performance Marketing
- Unpaid Social: planning & creation of Facebook & Instagram pages of UFS Belgium, Chef Wesley and Chef Brent
- Paid Social (META): briefing & feedback on agency strategies
- Search Engine Advertising-SEA (Google Ads): briefing & feedback on agency strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset – crucial for managing product edits, campaigns, and testing new ideas.
- Effective communicator – needed for working with digital teams and agencies.
- Ownership – responsible for successful launches and solutions.
- Commercial, strategic, and growth-oriented – drives campaign success and website optimisation.
- Eager to challenge norms and try new approaches – vital for ongoing improvements.
- Business savvy, linking data/IT with market needs – important for briefing agencies and aligning strategies.
- Clear objectives and deliverables – supports tracking and reporting.
- Fluent in English, plus Dutch and/or French – needed for market and team collaboration.
