Upfluence helps brands tell their story with powerful influencer & content marketing technology. Upfluence’s software allows brands and agencies to identify and contact millions of social influencers and bloggers at scale to execute comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns, as well as provide detailed reporting metrics. Since the launch of our SaaS software in October 2016, the company has yielded a monthly double-digit growth rate, and we are therefore seeking further expansion for our team and offices. Our rapidly growing global team is currently distributed between our offices in NYC, Los Angeles, Lyon, Mexico City and Paris.
The role
We’re looking for a technical, hands-on Product Manager to lead our Data & AI squad (Libra).
The Product Manager owns the roadmap and delivery for the Libra squad, working closely with the VP Product and founders to translate the company vision and strategic direction into concrete, high-impact product initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, data engineering, APIs, and applied AI. You don’t need to be a daily coder, but you must be comfortable understanding how systems work end-to-end: data pipelines, API design and consumption, and how AI models could be integrated to translate our user needs into actionable features and output.
We’re looking for someone autonomous, curious, and passionate about AI, eager to experiment, learn fast, and turn emerging technologies into real product value.
What the Data squad is responsible for:
- Influencer data pipelines: Owning and maintaining large-scale data ingestion systems that collect influencer data across multiple platforms
- Data aggregation & enrichment: Structuring, normalizing, and enriching influencer data to power Upfluence’s core features
- AI-powered product features: Designing and delivering AI initiatives that enhance influencer data, campaign management scalability, and content management
🔍 Discovery & Analytics
- Build a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and expectations through qualitative and quantitative research
- Use analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel) to measure adoption, performance, and impact of Data & AI features
- Identify opportunities where data and AI can unlock new value for users and the business
- Own and maintain the Libra squad roadmap, aligned with the vision defined by the VP Product and founders
- Translate company-level strategy into clear product initiatives, priorities, and milestones
- Make informed choices in a complex technical environment
- Ensure strong alignment between business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints
- Clearly communicate product direction and progress to stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end execution of the roadmap, from discovery to production
- Work closely with engineers, data engineers, and ML engineers to design scalable, robust solutions
- Break down initiatives into epics and user stories with a strong focus on impact and iteration
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and performant releases
- Continuously improve product management processes, tools, and ways of working
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a B2B SaaS or data-heavy environment
- Strong technical understanding of:
- APIs and how products consume or expose them
- Data pipelines, schemas, and dependencies
- AI / ML concepts and their real-world product application
- A user-centric mindset, even when working on complex backend or data topics
- Comfortable executing within a clear strategic vision while owning prioritization and delivery
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn and test new technologies and models
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- A key product role at the heart of Upfluence’s Data & AI strategy
- A stimulating environment with opportunities for growth and autonomy
- 100% reimbursement of public transportation expenses
- Monthly team outings (up to €50/month)
- 5 weeks of paid vacation
- Remote work possible (up to 2.5 days per week)
- Health insurance (Alan)
- Stock options
- Offices in Lyon, the city of gastronomy, with partial remote-friendly policies and public transportation reimbursement
