About the Company


We’re a fast-growing software agency building webshops, complex platform solutions, and mobile apps for mid-to-large German customers. You’ll work closely with the founders and product/engineering teams, shaping our infrastructure and taking DevOps from solid foundations to a scalable, modern function.


The Opportunity


This role is hands-on today with a clear track to team leadership. You’ll own core DevOps capabilities across internal operations and product/client projects, with the autonomy to set standards, improve reliability, and drive automation.


What You’ll Do


  • Design, implement, and own Infrastructure as Code and cloud environments (AWS or Azure—experience with either is welcome)
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and incident/ops practices
  • Lead hardening, cost optimisation, and reliability initiatives across services
  • Tackle essential operational tasks and automate them away where possible
  • Partner with product and engineering to support delivery for client projects
  • Establish best practices and help grow a small DevOps team over time


What You’ll Bring


  • Proven DevOps experience across IaC, cloud, CI/CD, and observability
  • Fluent German for client conversations and stakeholder meetings; strong English for day-to-day collaboration
  • Pragmatic, flexible mindset—comfortable learning new tools/clouds and choosing what works best for the problem
  • Clear communication, ownership, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving, flat organisation


Nice to Have (not required)


  • Experience migrating between cloud providers (e.g., AWS ↔ Azure)
  • Familiarity with security hardening, cost governance, and SRE practices
  • Exposure to client-facing delivery or agency/consulting environments
