š IT - Senior Python Developer/Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable back-end applications.
- Quality & Refactoring: Analyze existing code, refactor it to enhance maintainability, performance, and adherence to financial industry best practices and the code quality gate.
- Integration & Automation: Develop and support new database schemas (MS SQL Server) and associated data loading scripts, integrating the database with the IT infrastructure.
- Testing & Documentation: Write unit tests (pytest) to fulfill code coverage quality gates and maintain comprehensive, user-friendly technical documentation.
- Support & Training: Collaborate closely with business teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions and provide training to empower users in application and database development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in IT
- +7 years of experience in Python and SQL software engineering
Required Skills
- Technical Proficiency (Mandatory): Strong command of Python (Object-Oriented Programming) and SQL, with practical, hands-on use of key libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Flask.
- Development Practices: Proficient in automated testing (e.g., unit-test, pytest) and solid experience with the Git version control system and collaborative development practices
- Soft Skills: Excellent English communication and presentation skills (C1/C2) proven in customer-oriented change management, ensuring clear communication with both IT and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- Architecture & DevOps (Desired): Solid understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, and SaaS environments. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines) and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) complements the development standards.
