Developer C++/Oracle

LOGOS is looking for TWO Developers C++/Oracle to join our teams.

Description:

Activities/tasks

• For a major financial institution, you’ll join a team of 15 developers in charge of a critical system for the financial sector worldwide;
• You’ll review, analyse and understand the subjects and functional requirements detailed in a backlog;
• You will develop functionalities according to the business needs and the new processes;
• You will be involved in the UAT tests cycles;
• You will have to assess tickets coming from testing results;
• You will work under a Waterfall/Agile hybrid mode in a very dynamic team.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Master degree or equivalent professional qualification or years of experience (from 1 to 5+), or candidate with at least a first, proven experience, or, a very significant internship
• Strong Technical expertise in C++, Object Oriented Design (OOD preferably UML) and LINUX
• Additional experience with JAVA is a plus
• Experience/Knowledge of GRPC, Protobuf, Openshift, Docker, Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot, JSON
• Experience in Unit Testing and Acceptance Testing tools like Junit, Mockito, Jacoco, Fitnesse, Selenium, Gherkin or Cucumber
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline and tools tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Artifactory, IntelliJ)
• Mandatory: knowledge of ORACLE database, SQL and PL-SQL.
• Functional knowledge of financial markets is a plus (Securities, Corporate actions, Custody, investments funds…)
• Fast learner, solution oriented
• Capacity to quickly understand and enhance existing applications
• Strong organizational skills
• Pro-activity and capacity to meet objectives with limited support
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Speaking and writing English (fluent enough) - knowledge of French will ease the communication
• A copy of criminal record is asked for hiring
