As we expand our portfolio of space missions and partnerships with ESA, LSA, and the European Commission, we are seeking a skilled Space Project Manager to coordinate projects end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery across technical, financial, and contractual aspects.


Tasks

  • Manage space mission projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage a cross functional technical team and coordinate resources with department leads.

  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Lead contractual negotiations, resolving discrepancies and securing win-win outcomes.

  • Serve as a contact point with ESA, LSA, and the European Commission.

  • Estimate and monitor project budgets, including personnel, travel, and capital expenditures.

  • Prepare project proposals and documentation, defining objectives, scope, work breakdown structures, schedule, resources, risks, and implementation approaches.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in coordination with technical and management teams.

  • Ensure the project complies with product assurance and quality standards.

  • Prepare milestone documentation, progress reports, and closure packages.


Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • 2-5 years of experience in space systems and project management.

  • Hands-on experience coordinating and managing projects with ESA.

  • Strong background in project management methodologies, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in technical and business negotiations.

  • Experience in writing documentation and managing proposal applications.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, make effective decisions, and delegate when necessary.

  • Self-starter with adaptability to change in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

  • Important: Already a resident in Europe or holds a valid European work visa.


Nice to have:



  • Experience in tailoring ECSS standards for space systems.

  • Hands on experience managing satellite missions.

  • Demonstrated experience in PA/QA.

  • Knowledge of satellite communications, 5G systems, and direct-to-device initiatives.
