2 Contract Positions
6-month contract | 40 hours per week | €45 p/h | 2 days onsite per week in Amsterdam
A global, tech-driven organisation undergoing a major transformation is looking for two experienced People Operations Specialists to join its People team. You’ll deliver high-quality HR support to employees and managers across assigned regions/countries/functions, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience from onboarding to offboarding (recruitment excluded).
You’ll act as the first point of contact for People queries, keep core processes running smoothly, and maintain high data accuracy across global HR systems. Experience using ticketing systems and/or Workday is a strong advantage, and solid HR experience is essential.
The Role Core HR Support
- Provide day-to-day HR administration across the full employee lifecycle (Hire–to–Retire), excluding recruitment.
- Manage processes such as contract and offer administration, employee data changes, and absence tracking/reporting.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all documents are compliant with local employment legislation.
- Handle employee and manager queries efficiently and with a customer-first mindset.
- Maintain and update global HR systems (Workday experience highly beneficial).
- Log and manage queries through the ticketing system, ensuring SLA response times are met.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate payroll-related changes in line with agreed timelines.
- Work closely with HR Advisory, Payroll, Recruitment, internal support teams, and external vendors.
- Support Centres of Excellence with business cycles, process optimisation, and People initiatives.
- Provide feedback on People systems, processes, and employee handbook updates.
- Assist with regional or country-level People events (e.g., wellbeing days or HR drop-ins).
- Maintain employee communication channels such as bulletin boards and online libraries.
- Troubleshoot issues across systems and teams to ensure consistent employee support.
- Support onboarding of new People Operations colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate work with strong attention to detail

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years’ experience in a People/HR Operations role within a customer-facing environment
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems (Workday or SAP ideal)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Basic understanding of local labour law (preferred)
- Solid MS Office / Google Suite skills
- A detail-oriented, analytical, problem-solving mindset
