Senior Kotlin Developer
B2B contract - hourly rate
Based in Porto - Hybrid working model
We’re looking for a Senior Kotlin Engineer to help build and enhance advanced Android features, including OCR/ICR-driven components within mission‑critical applications.
Engineers with strong Android/Kotlin expertise and hands‑on experience with:
- OCR technologies (essential)
- ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) experience - a strong plus
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building Android applications in production using Kotlin
- Strong experience with OCR and/or ICR implementations
- Solid understanding of the Android application lifecycle
- Experience integrating third‑party libraries into Android apps
- Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and issue‑tracking tools like JIRA
- Clear communicator and a collaborative team player
- Bonus: Experience working in international, cross‑functional teams
