Software Developer IV (Frontend)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Developer to join an engineering team responsible for building and evolving a print experience within a large-scale, web-based design platform. The team focuses on enabling users to move seamlessly from digital creation to professionally printed products, directly from the editor.
In this role, you will work on complex, user-facing workflows that combine design tools, configuration logic, PDF generation, and third-party print integrations. Your contributions will directly impact usability, performance, and reliability for a product used by millions of users globally.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on frontend architecture, scalability, and high-quality user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain frontend features that support creating, configuring, and ordering printed products
- Build robust UI components for print workflows, including panels, dialogs, configuration steps, and export options
- Contribute to the integration layer with external print providers and related APIs
- Collaborate closely with backend, PDF, security, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Help shape frontend architecture and ensure consistency with an established design system
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure maintainable, high-quality code
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend development
- Experience designing component-based architectures and managing application state
- Familiarity with Web Components and scalable UI systems
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a distributed team
Tech Environment
- Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Frameworks & Libraries: Web Components, Lit, MobX
- UI System: Spectrum Web Components
- Tools: Git, Bazel, PNPM, Playwright
