Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering data from various sources, such as databases, surveys, and external websites. This may involve using data extraction tools, data scraping, or manual data entry.
  • Interpreting data and summarizing findings in clear and concise reports or presentations.
  • Creating charts, graphs, and other visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Assist in organizing systems trainings and work together with relevant teams in the best use of analytics and systems to monitor ongoing activity and help foster a data culture within the region.
  • Provide support in improving business processes, system implementations and data quality/accuracy.
  • Collect information from hotels and compile statistical reports.
  • Data cleaning and preprocessing: Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy and quality. This may involve removing duplicates, handling missing values, and standardizing data formats.
  • Coordinate support between hotels, regional office, and corporate office related to financial systems and maintenance, PAW reports, hotel reporting templates, training manuals, etc.
  • Set up a systematic and efficient filing system, both for hard files as well as all electronic data, that enables quick retrieval. Ensure all files are always kept up to date.
  • Attend and prepare minutes for meetings as and when required .

Qualifications

Your Qualifications, Experience & Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master degree in business administration, economics, operations research, finance, statistics or computer science
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an analytical or technical position. Expertise in finance is a plus.
  • Experience in hospitality industry is desirable
  • Attention to detail and ability to check own work and produce accurate deliverables.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and approach their daily work with professionalism.
  • Fluency in English (verbal/written)
  • Very good knowledge MS Office Software’s specifically Excel
  • Preferably a good knowledge of various software programs used by hotels (Hyperion, PMS, POS etc)
  • Power BI, ThoughtSpot and Snowflake knowledge is an advantage
