HaloScape is a next-generation digital health companion designed to simplify and empower personal wellness. It combines sleep, stress, blood test insights, daily habits, and wearable data into one smart, personalized app helping users see the full picture of their health, take action, and build healthier lives.

As part of the HaloScape team, you'll work on the design of a product that isn't just another wellness tracker it's a health super app redefining how individuals understand and manage their well-being.

What You’ll Do

·      AI-Assisted Development: Utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to accelerate the design, implementation, and documentation of backend services, setting a new standard for development velocity.

·      Build AI-Ready Architecture: Develop and optimize scalable RESTful APIs that not only serve mobile apps but also act as the backbone for our AI/LLM integrations.

·      Serverless & Cloud AI: Work deeply with Firebase (Cloud Functions, Firestore) and integrate serverless AI workflows to build scalable, secure features.

·      Modern DevOps: Build and manage containerized applications using Docker, leveraging AI to generate and optimize infrastructure-as-code configurations.

·      Intelligent Integration: Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and messaging systems, while implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to feed our health AI.

·      Code Quality at Speed: Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance, using AI tools for automated refactoring, unit test generation, and bug detection.

·      Strategic Contribution: Contribute to architectural decisions, specifically focusing on how to embed AI agents into our backend strategy.

What You’ll Bring

·      Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.

·      Core Tech Stack: 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Node.js ecosystem, with a proven ability to use AI tools to amplify your output.

·      Data Mastery: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL (Firestore, MongoDB). Bonus: Experience with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) for AI contexts.

·      System Design: Strong knowledge of distributed systems and messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pub/Sub).

·      AI-Native Mindset: You treat AI not just as a feature to build, but as a pair programmer. You are comfortable using LLMs to debug, document, and optimize code rapidly.

·      API & Containerization: Solid understanding of API design and experience with Docker/containerization.

·      Cloud Experience: Experience with Google Cloud (preferred due to Firebase), AWS, or Azure.

·      Passion for Health AI: A strong desire to build the core of a platform that improves people’s health and well-being using cutting-edge technology.
