We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer / Software Developer with experience in the Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in application development and database management, particularly with Oracle Database (but not a deal breaker), and will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of insurance-related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain insurance domain software applications.
- Work on core insurance systems including policy, claims, underwriting, billing, or related platforms.
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to understand insurance workflows and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize Oracle Database objects including queries, procedures, packages, and functions.
- Perform application debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Support application enhancements, production issues, and change requests.
- Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and best practices.
- Prepare technical and functional documentation and support UAT activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of total experience as a Software Engineer / Software Developer.
- Experience working in the Insurance domain (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience working with insurance domain software applications (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (Preferred).
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
