Job Description

About the role

In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on data protection, data security, and all legal aspects related to the Digital Decade Program. You will support the global business in developing secure, compliant digital products and act as a trusted legal advisor to management.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external legal partners, you will help mitigate legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and actively shape TOMRA’s digital future.

What You Will Do

  • Provide expert legal advice and support, primarily in the areas of data protection and privacy regulations, data security and legal matters related to the Digital Decade Program.
  • Guide managers and the business in complying with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise on legal aspects related to the development and deployment of digital products and services.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of business agreements, including software contracts and development projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, guidelines, and templates to ensure legal compliance.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and proactively initiate actions to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. CISO, Group IT, Compliance) and external legal partners.
  • Deliver legal training and coordinate with Data Protection Officers and authorities.


Qualifications

Professional & technical expertise

  • Fully qualified Advokat or an equivalent legal qualification from another European jurisdiction.
  • More than 8 years of relevant professional experience, either in a law firm or as in-house legal counsel.
  • Expertise in data protection, data security, and digital/legal regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong legal expertise combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Interest in technical and digital topics.
  • Enjoy working in an international environment and collaborating within global teams.


Languages

  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent contract drafting skills.
  • German or additional languages are a plus.
