IT System/AV Engineer (L1) – Sharjah – Arabic speaker
Salary: AED 9k max plus self-visa, medical and annual air fare
- Handle and resolve daily IT support tickets, providing technical assistance to customers via phone, walk-in, or email.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, printers, and scanners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 & 2 issues related to hardware, software, and networks across Windows and Mac environments.
- Conduct routine system checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure high performance and security.
- Manage assigned IT projects, including preparing project plans, defining scope of work, and setting timelines.
- Support additional tasks as needed to contribute to departmental and organizational objectives.
- Manage and maintain A/V systems for business centers, meeting rooms, and event halls, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide on-site technical support during meetings, presentations, and events to ensure seamless A/V operations.
- Oversee access control systems, CCTV, attendance machines, and smart devices.
- Set up and support speakers, mixers, microphones, cameras, and LED screens.
- Monitor and maintain UPS systems, cooling units, and backup power solutions to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
- Coordinate with vendors for annual maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
- Track system performance and conduct routine upkeep for optimal functionality.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and industry best practices.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
- Proven track record in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of A/V system setup and maintenance.
- Experience in technical and hardware user support.
- Familiarity with access control, CCTV, UPS, and cooling systems.
- Understanding of network support and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Good grasp of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, and switching.
