Job Summary (AI/ML Engineer – Healthcare/Pharma, Remote, Contract): W2 role only
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer
- Recent experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong background in clinical NLP and healthcare data extraction
- Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering
- Proven ability to deploy AI/ML models into production environments
- Expertise in integrating Azure Cognitive Services (OpenAI)
- Proficient in Databricks and SQL Server
- Experience with offline open-weight model usage
- Skilled in Databricks foundational model integration
- Familiarity with Claude API implementation (a plus)
- Knowledge of third-party pre-trained NLP libraries
- Proficient in Python and NLP frameworks (spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK)
- Skilled in healthcare/clinical text processing
- Contract role, remote, on W2
