Job Summary (AI/ML Engineer – Healthcare/Pharma, Remote, Contract): W2 role only

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer
  • Recent experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong background in clinical NLP and healthcare data extraction
  • Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering
  • Proven ability to deploy AI/ML models into production environments
  • Expertise in integrating Azure Cognitive Services (OpenAI)
  • Proficient in Databricks and SQL Server
  • Experience with offline open-weight model usage
  • Skilled in Databricks foundational model integration
  • Familiarity with Claude API implementation (a plus)
  • Knowledge of third-party pre-trained NLP libraries
  • Proficient in Python and NLP frameworks (spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK)
  • Skilled in healthcare/clinical text processing
  • Contract role, remote, on W2
