The Product Manager will work on the Instant Pay squad, composed by several product and engineering people focused on developing integrations for different countries and regions around the world.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the roadmap, pricing, packaging, and documentation of new product ideas. By maintaining a good customer and market knowledge, this candidate will be able to successfully build and iterate on our products.
Responsibilities
● Develop and execute the product strategy for Instant Payments in Australia, leading the mapping and integrations for the evolution of the Pismo platform to support multiple use cases in the region, mainly those focused on NPP and other related payment systems, domestically and internationally.
● Support the development of the expansion strategy for countries and regions that are part of our global expansion plan;
● Support Pismo teams and the partnership team in finding the most suitable partners and providers for the products to be enabled, ensuring efficient integrations with payment and financial services providers.
● Ensure evolution of products and features, supporting current and new clients, as well as monitoring industry standards, market trends and tech innovations. Mapping needs, insights and feedback from our clients, prospects and market.
● As Product Manager, together with other Instant Payments Product Managers, support the squad's product vision, developing the product roadmap, aiming the delivery of value to clients (current and future) and to Pismo Strategy;
● Evaluate and discuss, together with engineering and business areas, potential approaches for implementing the product roadmap: build, partner, buy.
● Structuring and improving product solutions throughout their entire life cycle, from their conception to the evolution of the service, from a technical and business perspective.
● Manage and prioritize the product backlog, together with other Instant Payments Product Managers, using appropriate criteria for recommendations and decisions about priorities and team allocation in developments.
● Work together with engineering, discussing products and prioritization, based on agile methods to deliver value in a continuous and increasing way.
● Cooperate and work together with other teams to develop “cross squad” solutions with dependencies and greater scale.
● Ensure product scalability, including non-functional aspects such as: integrity, resilience and scalability; together with the engineering team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field of study
- 5+ years' experience in product management for NPP and other related payment systems (Australian Payment market)
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack
