About the role:

Designation / Job title: Cyber Security Analyst_262116


Primary or Mandatory skills:-

  • Strong knowledge of Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
  • Experience with SIEM tools (e.g.,Crowdstrike, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
  • Knowledge of malware analysis, threat intelligence, and risk assessment.
  • Hands‑on experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
  • Proficiency in incident detection, response, and investigation.

Detailed Job description : -

Main duties:

  • Safeguard organizational information systems and digital assets.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats in real time.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Support implementation of best practices in cyber defense.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen overall security posture.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of networks, systems, and applications.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Maintain and enforce access control and identity management policies.
  • Prepare reports on security incidents, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions for employees on cyber hygiene.


Responsibilities:

  • Detect and analyze suspicious activity using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
  • Respond to alerts, conduct root‑cause analysis, and document incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or local regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend adoption where relevant.
  • Support audits by providing evidence of security controls and practices.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
