For the next growth phase, we are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to tackle our many scaling challenges. Someone who is passionate about cutting-edge technology, wants to make a positive impact on the industry and loves simple, robust solutions for complicated requirements.

Your role

• You develop our API products for financial advice and take responsibility from implementation to testing.
• You have a comprehensive understanding of the existing products and codebase, which allows you to develop additional components and product features.
• Manage merge reviews for your services, ensuring they meet quality and security standards and proactively guiding other developers.
• You are responsible for technical decisions, bring in know-how, and contribute to the ongoing development of our roadmaps in alignment with the Product Owner.
• Support efficient communication between Product Owner, Developers, Project Managers.
• Work with a state-of-the-art software stack, including Docker, Python, PostgreSQL, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Dapr, Traefik.

Your profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a developer with a focus on Python
• Experience with API-based web applications
• You have excellent communication skills and are a team player
• Fluency in English; German language proficiency is a plus
• Experience in managing IT projects is a plus
• Experience in the insurance or financial industry is a plus

• Your minimum salary is € 3.724 gross according to the IT collective agreement. Overpayment is explicitly considered, depending on your professional experience and qualifications. Additionally, you benefit from the company’s overall success by receiving a variable and performance-based bonus.
