DevOps / SRE Engineer – Application Observability Team

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to join the Application Observability Team within the Service Reliability and Observability (SRO) department. The team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and observability of services across the organization.

In this role, you will take ownership of observability platforms and services, working closely with Platform and Observability Backend teams to improve system performance, user experience, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously refine monitoring and alerting rules for team-owned services and organization-wide platforms
• Collaborate with Platform and Observability Backend teams to deliver user stories and enhance system performance
• Lead and support projects such as migrating Grafana from on-premises data centers to AWS, including planning, requirements definition, implementation, and supervision
• Improve service deployments using Git-based workflows and ArgoCD
• Propose, validate, and implement performance and user experience improvements
• Investigate incidents, address issues, implement preventive measures, and manage postmortems along with follow-up improvement tasks
• Analyze system performance, identify anomalies, and define, document, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure services meet SLA and reliability requirements

Required Profile (Must-Have)

• Experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer with a strong software engineering background
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer and/or within an SRE domain
• Proven experience in ownership roles, including defining strategies, deploying and monitoring systems, identifying improvement areas, and implementing changes
• Strong sense of ownership with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift
• Solid expertise in observability and monitoring tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, tracing tools, and OpenTelemetry
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency

Nice to Have

• Additional experience in SRE or Infrastructure Engineering beyond the minimum requirement
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native best practices and reliability engineering principles
