Senior Test Engineer

Overview:

My client is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to play a key role in the development and production of advanced microcontroller products. This role involves working across the full product lifecycle — from early architecture and prototypes through to mass production — while ensuring high quality and efficient manufacturing.

You’ll collaborate with global teams across Europe, Asia, and the US, working hands-on with silicon, test equipment, and simulation environments. The position offers strong technical ownership, exposure to high-volume production, and opportunities for technical leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing test strategies from early design to mass production
• Working hands-on with new silicon, prototypes, and production test equipment
• Validating, characterising, and analysing product performance using large data sets
• Supporting datasheet, electrical specifications, and customer requirements
• Collaborating within cross-functional, international project teams
• Contributing to cost-effective, high-quality product development

Preferred background:

• Experience in test, electronics, embedded software, or IC design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and production test environments
• Programming experience (e.g. Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, or similar)
• Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Professional working proficiency in English
