This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme. The GRaduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities across various sectors.
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme. The GRaduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities across various sectors.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of backend services
- Work closely with engineers to design, implement, and test scalable APIs and system components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support feature development, debugging, and performance enhancements
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality software development
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 and 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field; or graduated earlier and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Familiarity with the following languages and practice on a regular basis: Go, Python, SQL
- Knowledge and experience in Docker and/or Kubernetes (k8s) is a plus
- Basic knowledge about computer architectures, data structures and algorithms
- Have an open-minded, agile and proactive mindset with strong willingness to learn
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
