C# Full stack Developer (Permanent/ Contract)

Developer / Software Engineer: The successful candidate should be proficient in C# and other Microsoft technologies, have experience with software frameworks, and possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Job Description:

As a Developer / Software Engineer, you will be a full stack and support developer, responsible for building new features and supporting existing complex systems. Your strong problem-solving skills will be essential in this role. You will also provide global support during critical quarter-end reporting timelines, which will require working or being on call across North American and European time zones occasionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features for our software systems.
• Support and maintain existing complex systems.
• Provide global support during critical quarter-end reporting timelines, occasionally requiring work across North American and European time zones.
• Collaborate with a team of software engineers, receiving help, mentoring, and training to enhance your skills as a developer and future leader.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including those related to IT infrastructure and security concerns.
• Document software designs, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Technology University Degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in Software Engineering using C# and other Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with software frameworks (API, Web, Database) is beneficial.
• Understanding of architecture design patterns like microservices is advantageous.
• Some exposure to and understanding of cloud technology.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, including modern code repository use and release methodologies.
• Understanding of testing methodologies is beneficial.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Good troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of IT infrastructure and security concerns.
