We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM’s Global Product and Technology organization.

SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

As a Software Engineer III - Android, you’ll work on either iOS, Android, or Web-based client software for our SiriusXM and Pandora products. As a member of our Client Software Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to improve the Pandora and SiriusXM experiences for the millions of customers we serve. You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned iOS, Android or Web engineer to deepen their experience and work with a world-class team.

hat You’ll Do

• evelop innovative enhancements and new features for our existing Pandora and SiriusXM applications or websitesF
• acilitate the troubleshooting of pre- and post-production issues, working closely with the development teamP
• articipate in code reviews as part of a much larger teamB
• e familiar with the overall software stack and the software components of the applications and websites we build, and always be looking for ways to improveP
• articipate in your team’s software development coding standards, code review, and all documentation as it applies to the software development of the platforms you work onP
• articipate in the Agile development process for client developmentK
• eep fully aware of the industry evolution, new technologies, and evolution of client applications or web frameworks

• ou have 4+ years of developing client software, either for Android-based platforms.E
• xperience implementing native apps for Android using the latest Android features and technologies including Android Studio.E
• xperience with Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and other Google Android frameworksN
• ice to have experience with Hilt and media3.E
• xperience with MVVM and other modern design patternsN
• ice to have: interest in modern open-source Android projects like Coil and okhttp.E
• xperience with CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions and Gradle.
