Contract to hire position with a major financial firm.
Job Description
" Coach teams on Agile values and principles and their application as well as backlog management to maximize business value
" Support the team by removing and/or escalating impediments that the team cannot resolve themselves including topics related to scope, schedule, prioritization, decision making, risk management, etc.
" Plan and facilitate team ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demo, and retrospectives
" Lead team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and continuous improvement
" Shield the team from frequent outside distractions and interferences
Must Haves
" Experienced SM that can manage two teams in a fast-paced environment
" Excellent JIRA Skills
" Clear Scrum Master experience and capabilities like efficiently facilitating Standups & Retros, documenting and driving Kaizens, keeping the team focused and on track to deliver on Sprint Commitments and quickly getting stuff out of their way like accesses, etc.
