About Our Client:

Our client is the fastest growing technology company that delivers advanced blockchain and web3 solutions to public sector organizations. This is a newly-created Head of Sales opportunity that will lead all revenue efforts and work directly with founders. Offices are in Hoboken, NJ. --> company has recently doubled in size to 15 employees.


** MUST HAVE EXPOSURE WITH GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS OF PUBLIC SECTOR PROCUREMENT **


Responsibilities:

  • Support the full sales cycle for government clients, including prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals and closing.
  • Develop a sales strategy focused on public sector accounts across counties, cities and states.
  • Build relationships with government decision makers, procurement teams and agency stakeholders.
  • Manage RFP responses and oversee proposal development and pricing.
  • Partner with founders to define go to market priorities and revenue targets.
  • Work with product teams to align capabilities with government needs.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting and performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contract terms, compliance requirements and procurement steps.
  • Represent the company at government meetings, industry events and conferences.
  • Hire, lead and develop future sales team members as the organization scales.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales with exposure to government contracts or public sector procurement.
  • Understanding of technology sales into government environments.
  • Experience with blockchain or web3 solutions is preferred.
  • History of meeting sales targets and managing complex contracting processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast growing environment and work closely with executive leadership
  • Base salary of $150,000 to 200,000 plus commission and equity.
