About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong backend development expertise to join our growing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable APIs and backend services, with a strong focus on FastAPI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Integrate databases and third-party APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams.
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI (mandatory).
• Experience with REST API development.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of basic DevOps concepts and deployment processes.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Django or Flask.
• Knowledge of async programming and background tasks.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
