Senior React Native Developer - Energy Company

We’re seeking experienced React Native Developers to join a fast-moving mobile squad at a major UK energy provider. You’ll play a key role in building and enhancing customer-facing mobile applications used at scale.

Contract Details

• Length: 6 months initial, strong likelihood of extension
• Location: UK-based, remote-first with occasional team meetups
• IR35: Inside IR35

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing, maintaining, and optimising React Native mobile applications used by a large customer base
• Improving mobile performance, stability, and user journeys across iOS and Android
• Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams within an agile squad
• Contributing to shared component libraries and mobile best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with React Native delivering production mobile apps
• Solid understanding of modern React patterns: functional components, hooks, and state management
• Experience building customer-facing mobile applications in high-traffic environments
• Focus on code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability
• Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced product teams
