About The Opportunity

We have Permanent and Fixed-Term Contract roles available, based in North Sydney.

We’re Hiring Across Two Levels

  • Mid-Level Engineers – Deliver features independently and mentor others
  • Senior Engineers – Drive technical excellence across systems and mentor at all levels

Your level will be determined through our interview process using our Build / Guide / Lead framework:

  • Build – Hands-on technical contribution: coding, designing systems, solving problems
  • Guide – Team impact: mentoring, coaching, code reviews, knowledge sharing
  • Lead – Organizational impact: strategy, vision, driving initiatives, influencing direction

Typical Balance Of Responsibilities

  • Mid-Level: Build 70% | Guide 25% | Lead 5%
  • Senior: Build 60% | Guide 30% | Lead 10%

This framework provides clarity on expectations and supports your growth beyond your current level.

You’ll work with a modern tech stack (Golang, Node.js, Svelte) and serverless-first, event-driven architectures to build solutions powering Australia’s leading Out of Home

media platform. Your scope will match your experience, with clear pathways for progression.

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day will evolve as you grow, but here’s what you can expect:

  • Build & Deliver: Design, develop, and deploy features that solve real business problems
  • Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to create solutions users love
  • Learn & Grow: Improve your craft through code reviews, pair programming, and exploring new tech
  • Quality First: Write clean, maintainable code with solid test coverage
  • Support & Improve: Troubleshoot issues and proactively enhance systems and processes
  • Share Knowledge: Contribute through documentation, tech talks, and mentoring
  • Think Ahead: Help shape technical direction with long-term decisions in mind

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to a range of experience levels (typically 2–8+ years). More important than years is what you’ve learned and how you apply it.

You Should Have

  • Professional experience building and shipping software in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and best practices
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
  • Ability to write maintainable, tested code
  • Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
  • Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and modern web development
  • Experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Golang, React/Vue/Svelte
  • Building RESTful APIs, working with SQL/NoSQL, or event-driven architectures
  • CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Mentoring others or leading technical initiatives
  • Background in Out of Home media or ad tech
