Your Challenge & Tasks
At Mavie, we're on a mission to transform healthcare by providing holistic solutions that support individuals throughout their entire well-being journey—helping them stay healthy and get healthier. We're reimagining how people experience healthcare services, making them more connected, innovative, and accessible. To turn this vision into reality, we need exceptional talent—innovative thinkers, problem-solvers, and collaborative team players who are driven by a passion for creating modern healthcare solutions. As a fast-growing startup, we offer a dynamic, flexible work environment where you’ll have the freedom to bring your bold ideas to life, while learning and growing along the way.
We are looking for a curious and detail-driven Data Analyst to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will shape how we collect, track, and analyse data — ensuring it’s accurate, privacy-compliant, and ready to drive smart decisions. From building robust tracking frameworks to creating impactful dashboards, your work will help the business move faster and smarter.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP) engineering
Design, build, and maintain our composable CDP leveraging Snowplow on Google Cloud to enable scalable, reliable, and privacy-compliant data collection.
Implement server-side tracking in Next.js applications to ensure robust and resilient event capture across user journeys.
- Cross-domain analytics & attribution
Work closely with marketing and product teams to implement cross-domain tracking, attribution models, and campaign performance analytics.
Support measurement strategies by building consistent tracking plans and enabling insight-driven decision-making.
- Schema design & governance
Define, validate, and manage custom event schemas using JSON Schema and Iglu.
Ensure schema evolution is handled cleanly and event data remains accessible and trustworthy in BigQuery.
- Data engineering & automation
Develop data extraction pipelines from a variety of sources (SQL/noSQL) and deploy them as lightweight, scalable Cloud Run functions.
Optimize data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows to support real-time and batch analysis.
- Analytics & reporting
Design and maintain high-impact dashboards in Power BI and Looker that surface actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.
Deliver reliable, well-contextualized reporting on key metrics, including campaign performance, product usage, and audience behaviors.
What you need to be successful
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on modern data tooling and product-led teams.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing CDPs or event tracking systems (Snowplow preferred).
- Solid knowledge of BigQuery.
- Proven experience with BI and reporting tools (Looker Studio, Power BI).
- Working knowledge of schema definition using JSON Schema.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, particularly for analytics-related implementations.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, IT).
- Understanding of tracking methodologies (e.g., UTM parameters, cookie-based persistence) and digital attribution.
- Working proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
What You Can Expect
- Make an impact: contribute to a healthier society through meaningful work that truly makes a difference.
- Dynamic environment: work in an entrepreneurial setting with the freedom to innovate, experiment, and implement your ideas.
- Global team: collaborate with a diverse team of 15+ nationalities in an open and transparent culture that values candid feedback.
- Learning & development: benefit from a €1,500/year personal learning budget to fuel your growth and skill development.
- Wellbeing support: access corporate mental health counseling (EAP) and enjoy health insurance discounts through our parent company, UNIQA.
- Office perks: fully paid Klimaticket, a monthly lunch budget at our Schrankerl, plus free snacks, fruit, and beverages.
- Team life: participate in regular events, from formal trainings to informal social gatherings, fostering connection and fun.
