Systems for automating the provisioning, scaling and management of containerized applications are fundamentally transforming processes across the automotive industry. Innovation is increasingly driven by software solutions that we deliberately design and provide for our employees.
As a working student in frontend development, you will contribute to the development of a document search engine handling both SQL and NoSQL data formats. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of students and experienced developers, gaining valuable insights into the work and responsibilities of our database development team.
Your main responsibilities include developing and testing frontend components, independently implementing programming tasks based on technical specifications, and creating and deploying containers to make the application available.
Your Tasks:
In addition to experienced support, your apprenticeship will include in-house and external courses. We offer attractive compensation in accordance with our company wage agreements, 30 days of vacation, and contributions to capital formation starting in the 6th month of your apprenticeship. As a working student in frontend development, you will contribute to the development of a document search engine handling both SQL and NoSQL data formats. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of students and experienced developers, gaining valuable insights into the work and responsibilities of our database development team.
Your main responsibilities include developing and testing frontend components, independently implementing programming tasks based on technical specifications, and creating and deploying containers to make the application available.
Your Tasks:
- You define requirements in close collaboration with the team
- You implement the requirements and develop frontend components
- You create code with the support of artificial intelligence
- You create containers and manage deployment via Rancher
- You integrate SQL and NoSQL databases into the user interface
- You conduct tests including system tests module tests and integration tests
- You document test results and development processes
- You optimize and extend existing systems and applications
- Currently enrolled as a student in computer science, media informatics or a related field
- Experience in frontend development, for example with React, Angular or Vue.js
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Basic experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, ideally with hands on exposure
- Experience with a distributed version control system, for example Git
- Basic knowledge of containerization, for example Docker, and ideally experience with Rancher for managing container clusters
- Analytical thinking as well as an independent and self responsible working style
- Presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate own results
- Strong communication and teamwork skills combined with commitment and initiative
- Experience in working with office tools
