Job description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a UI/UX Designer located in Dublin. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating mockups and visual designs, developing prototypes, and working on user experience design (UED). They will also be involved in front-end development tasks as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. The role requires close collaboration with software engineers and other team members to create intuitive and beautiful designs that enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing compelling and effective creative solutions.
- Work iteratively on initial concepts, prototypes, and details designs informed by feedback, user research, marketplace, behaviour trends and platform capabilities
- Collaborate with design team to create solutions based on research and user insights, ensuring shared understanding with the team
- Promote best practices in UX and UI, interaction design, and visual design
- Articulate clear design requirements in a human-centered framework to uncover the problems to solve and devise elegant experiences and design solutions
- Facilitate concept and usability testing, ensuring constant feedback loops throughout development & Maintaining awareness of current industry and technology standards, competitive landscape
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Demonstrate experience with end-to-end product design.
- Deep knowledge of design principles and design patterns.
- Portfolio and work samples including user-centered design skills, complex experiences such as flows, scenarios, personas, etc. (any fidelity), sketches to mid-fidelity interactions (show your process) and clickable or paper prototypes (any fidelity).
- Experience with Wireframing, Mockup, Prototyping and Design tools
- Comfortable facilitating design sessions to generate UI/UX related artifacts
- Experience designing for native iOS, Android and Web.
- Demonstrable Experience with UI/UX tools like: Sketch, Figma, Miro, Maze and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
- Experience working in an Agile environment e.g. Scrum
- Exposure to Git or similar version control systems
- Ability to tackle problems with a learning mindset
- Highly motivated and a strong team-player.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong collaboration skills
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing and understanding creative ideas with clients.
- Testing and improving the design of the website and Mobile Applications.
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Maintaining the appearance of websites and Mobile Applications by enforcing content standards.
- Designing visual imagery for websites and Mob. App and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
- Working with different content management systems.
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
- Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
- Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
- Preparing design plans and presenting the website and Mob. App structure.
Job Requirements
- At least 4 plus years experience, ideally within Mobile App Design, Motion Graphics / Interactive Design, UI Design, UX Design, Video Editor, Web Design or Graphic Design.
- Knowledge in graphic design software including FIGMA, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator and other design tools such as Sketch, Maze, InVision.
- Experience with Wireframing, Mockup, Prototyping and Design tools
- Strong skills in User Experience Design (UED)
- Knowledge of Front-End Development
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Demonstrated graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Excellent visual designing skills
- Creative and open to new ideas
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible and enthusiastic to learn new procedures and methodology
