Regional Director of Security Operations - EMEA

About the role

The Regional Director of Security Operations (RDSO) leads and develops security operations across a large multinational datacenter client within the EMEA region. This senior leadership role oversees multi-disciplinary teams and ensures consistent delivery of safe, compliant, and high-performing security services. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, global partners, and internal leadership to strengthen operational excellence, enhance safety culture, and support long-term growth. The RDSO is instrumental in shaping regional strategy, driving operational improvements, and ensuring the security program consistently meets the highest standards.

What you’ll do

• Lead regional security teams and ensure cohesive operations to deliver effective datacenter security services.
• Drive strategic priorities and streamline processes across the region.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the client on security matters.
• Oversee manned guarding operations and ensure compliance with:
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Contractual requirements
• Produce high-quality performance reports and project updates.
• Guide regional initiatives and promote collaboration across global business groups.
• Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Prepare executive-level presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Support crisis and incident response when required.
• Ensure the region operates effectively in a 24/7 environment.
• Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

What you need to apply

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, security, or a related field
• Or equivalent experience

Experience:

10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in;

• Physical security
• Contract security
• Large-scale operations
• Minimum 3–5 years in a director-level position

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage confidently with senior executives
• Proven experience building strong partner relationships

Travel & Flexibility

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time for leadership meetings, program launches, and regional alignment.
