About The Role

Aladia is a rapidly growing e-learning platform based in Italy, on a mission to transform digital education globally. We’re passionate about innovation, learner-centered design, and delivering exceptional online learning experiences at scale.

We’re currently hiring a Frontend Software Engineer (Chinese speaker) to help us build elegant, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Vue.js/Nuxt.js. You’ll work in a remote-first international team and contribute to the next generation of online learning products.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain front-end features using NuxtJS/VueJS
  • Build reusable UI components with Storybook and modern frontend patterns
  • Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces
  • Integrate with backend APIs in cooperation with backend engineers
  • Focus on performance, responsiveness, clean architecture, and scalability
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement discussions

👀 Who We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development
  • Strong knowledge of VueJS, NuxtJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
  • Comfortable working in remote, multicultural teams
  • Understanding of component-based architecture and clean code principles
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Chinese native speaker
  • Availability to collaborate in China time: 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–19:00

🛠 Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Familiarity with testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Chromatic, Applitools, or similar)
  • Experience working in international, distributed teams
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
  • Exposure to React Native (mobile application planned soon — optional, not expected)

  • Time Zone: China standard working hours (09:00–12:00 & 14:00–19:00)

💸 Compensation

$8.00 – $16.00 per hour

40 hrs/week, Contract-to-Hire via Upwork

Paid overtime available during emergencies (optional)
