You’ll act as a key accounting authority locally, working closely with controlling, audit, and regional finance teams, while supporting Omniva’s transformation into a modern, technology-driven logistics organization.
This is an opportunity to play a critical role in shaping robust financial processes and ensuring financial integrity across the Baltics and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing for two Lithuanian legal entities
- Take ownership of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Lithuanian GAAP
- Prepare, review, and file all tax declarations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and payroll-related taxes
- Manage statutory financial statements and regulatory filings with local authorities (e.g., Statistics Lithuania, Bank of Lithuania)
- Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead audit preparation, act as the main contact for auditors, and ensure full audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, internal policies, and group reporting requirements
- Collaborate with the accounting, controlling, and regional finance teams to deliver reliable management reporting
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated responsibility for statutory reporting and closing
- Strong knowledge of Lithuanian GAAP, local tax legislation, and statutory requirements
- Proven experience with IFRS, including lease accounting (IFRS 16)
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken
- Strong experience with ERP and financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Confident communicator with auditors and external authorities

You’ll also benefit from:

- Hybrid work model and flexible environment
- Health insurance or sports compensation
- Five additional vacation days after two years at Omniva
