Job description:
Reporting to the Customer Relations Manager, this Manager role supports the growth of IKEA Lithuania by providing Specific safety & Security directional support to secure compliance with internal & external standards, monitoring we operate within our risk appetite and creating a risk aware culture. You work closely together with various departments and all management level throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure a safe and secure environment for co-workers and customers through training, audits, and standards and national/local legal demands;
- You coordinate the handling of any emergency cases and provide appropriate action;
- You are accountable for investigation of internal and external incidents and recommending resolution and revision of routines as necessary;
- You identify areas prone to fraud and secure adequate controls are in place;
- You proactively identify emerging risks, and ensure early involvement in new initiatives in unit;
- You are the initial point of contact when fraudulent activities or unethical behaviours (including but not limited to harassment, co-worker misconduct) are suspected or identified;
Requirements:
- Strong leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment handling both Safety and Security measures and managing team;
- Preferably certified as Occupational health and safety specialist or/and Security Co-worker;
- Experience dealing with crowd control, crisis preparedness (fire drills, system testing) and crisis management;
- Experience of setting and implementing long-term strategic plans, setting budgets and following up goals, understanding profit and loss and how to affect its result;
- The ability to influence and develop people and act as a role model and coach with the skills to communicate confidently and clearly in English and Lithuanian (written and verbal);
- Fast perception and ability to implement requests at short notice;
- You should have knowledge in the following areas:
Occupational Health and Safety;
Investigations;
Administrations, auditing or controlling;
Technical Security Systems;
Fire safety;
Local criminal or civil laws;
Insurance;
Emergency response handling.

Monthly Salary:
3300 – 4100 Eur/Gross upon negotiation accordingly to the experience.
