openDAQ is expanding, and we’re looking for motivated engineers to help shape the future of open, interoperable data-acquisition systems. If you enjoy working on technically challenging problems and want to make an impact on an open-source platform used across industry, we’d love to hear from you. We’re currently hiring for three roles:

1. Test & Deployment Engineer

Own quality, CI/CD, testing infrastructure, and multi-platform deployment. This role focuses on validation, automation, release processes, and ensuring openDAQ is delivered reliably to users and integrators.

2. Core / Protocol (C++) Engineer

Work on the heart of openDAQ: core backend architecture, configuration systems, performance, and protocol integrations (e.g. MQTT, OPC UA, EtherCAT, ASAM). Ideal for engineers who enjoy system design and long-term platform development.

3. Student Developer – Bindings & Applications

Maintain and extend language bindings (C, C#, Python, Rust), improve developer tooling, and work on a Python GUI application. A great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with different programming languages, APIs, and open-source development.
