To do this, we need world-class product engineers who can design beautiful, reliable, and performant experiences across the stack.

About the Role

As a Product Designer at Caffeine.ai, you’ll use user centred design to shape our product from idea to shipped feature. You help decide what we build, turn user needs into clear journeys and flows, and work with product, engineering and our designers to deliver simple, effective experiences. You bring a strategic mindset, think in systems, and move easily between discovery, UX strategy and detailed design. You enjoy early stage products where not everything is defined yet, and you bring structure, clarity and pragmatic solutions to the team.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end experiences, from problem framing to user journeys and flows.
• Communicate the user experience at different stages through relevant artifacts including wireframes, flow diagrams, prototypes or vibe coding.
• Contribute to and extend our design system in Figma, so components and patterns scale.
• Work closely with engineering during implementation, provide clear specs and review design quality before and after release.
• Use data to guide design decisions and iterate on shipped features.

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of experience designing products, ideally working on a single product.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent practical experience.
• You are an excellent communicator with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to designers, engineers and leadership and you are comfortable leading reviews.
• You thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.
• You’ve fully integrated AI tools into your design process.

Bonus

• Experience designing AI driven applications.
• Experience contributing to small, cross-functional teams or startups.

* This is a hybrid role based in our Zurich office, with a requirement of 3+ days in the office per week.
