Job Description

Fanatics — Global leader in licensed sports merch, collectibles & fan culture.

Fanatics is rewriting what it means to be a modern brand in sports. Across licensed apparel, athlete collaborations, collectibles, live events, and global fan experiences, we’re building a world where content helps drive the businesses. We’re looking for a Junior Project Manager to help support and streamline the operational backbone of our social team.

The Role

The Junior Project Manager will partner closely with producers, creatives, and social strategists to help coordinate timelines, workflows, and cross-functional communication. This role is essential to keeping projects organized, on track, and moving efficiently through the pipeline.

A successful candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume social environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support project planning, timelines, and workback schedules for daily social content, campaigns, stunts, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure tasks are assigned, deadlines are tracked, and deliverables move smoothly from intake through production.
  • Maintain organized documentation for briefs, approvals, assets, project notes, and production details.
  • Serve as a coordinator between the Social, Creative, Brand, Production, and Legal teams to ensure alignment on project requirements.
  • Manage updates in project management tools (Airtable, Asana, Monday, etc.) and surface potential bottlenecks early.
  • Assist producers with vendor coordination, scheduling, and logistics for shoots or content needs.
  • Help prepare recaps, project trackers, and milestone updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the social team during high-volume content windows (sports moments, tentpole events, stunts).
  • Contribute to building and improving operational processes that help the team scale.

What We’re Looking For

  • +2 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in social, creative production, marketing, or an agency environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep multiple workstreams on track simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues, problem solve and/or escalate appropriately.
  • Familiarity with social content creation workflows and basic understanding of platform formats.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean documentation.
  • Someone who is available for occasional travel or work outside regular hours (evenings/weekends for live events).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, project management, or related field.
  • Experience with Airtable, Asana, or similar systems.
  • Interest in sports, social media culture, or entertainment.
  • Familiarity with production timelines and content approval workflows.

Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics' corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments.

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $85,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
