Job Summary for Junior Level Security Engineer at Culpeper, VA
- Deploy, configure, and maintain HashiCorp Vault clusters in high-availability (HA) environments.
- Troubleshoot and monitor Vault performance, integrations, and security.
- Implement hardening best practices for Vault and Red Hat Linux (RHEL) systems.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for secure infrastructure provisioning.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and harden RHEL environments, including SELinux policy development and enforcement.
- Develop, manage, and automate security processes using Ansible (roles, playbooks, AWX/Ansible Tower).
- Integrate security solutions with enterprise platforms (potentially using Jenkins, Go, Splunk, ELK Stack).
- Provide automation and workflow development for security operations.
- Onboard end users, assist with user issues, and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide on-site support at least 2 days per week (hybrid model).
- Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adapt to rapidly changing technologies and environments.
