Role Details
Title : Android Developer
Work Mode / Location : Remote (India)
HQ : Mumbai
Experience : 13 Years
Education : Bachelors / Masters in Software Engineering / Computer Science (or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end Android features using modern architecture and clean coding practices.
- Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Backend teams to ship reliable releases.
- Write secure, maintainable, and performant Kotlin code.
- Create reusable components to improve speed and consistency across the app.
- Monitor app performance, fix issues, and improve stability & UX.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices across the team.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure quality.
- Strong foundation in Kotlin (Java exposure is a plus).
- Familiar with MVVM, ViewModel, and LiveData / StateFlow.
- Working knowledge of Coroutines, multithreading basics, and async programming.
- Experience using Retrofit and consuming REST APIs.
- Exposure to Jetpack components (Navigation, Room, WorkManager, etc.).
- Strong fundamentals in DSA, OOP, and design patterns.
- Basic understanding of testing (unit/UI) is a plus.
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.
