Network Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of our organization’s network infrastructure, ensure high availability, performance, and security of LANs, WANs, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks and related systems

Design and deploy network solutions – LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless (Wi-Fi 6/6E), data center fabrics and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Install, configure and maintain network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, access points) and software
- Monitor network performance (throughput, availability, latency) and identify bottlenecks or security threats
- Provision and manage VPNs, VLANs, subnets, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and QoS policies
- Implement and manage network security controls (IDS/IPS, firewalls, ACLs, NAC, 802.1X)
- Perform routine patching, firmware upgrades and configuration backups for all network devices
- Troubleshoot network incidents, outages and performance issues; escalate or coordinate with vendors as needed
- Maintain documentation: network diagrams, IP address schemas, configuration standards and change logs
- Support voice-over-IP (VoIP) systems, wireless LANs and remote access services
- Participate in network design and capacity planning for expansions, data center moves or cloud integrations
- Enforce and audit network policies, PCI/HIPAA compliance, and security best practices
- Provide Tier-2/3 support and guidance to helpdesk staff on connectivity and network access issues
- Respond to security incidents, perform root-cause analysis and support forensic investigations
- Collaborate on disaster recovery planning and fail-over testing for critical network systems
- Train end users and IT staff on network tools, policies and security awareness
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise networks (on-premises and cloud)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies and routing protocols
- Experience with major network vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Wireshark)
- Solid grasp of network security principles: firewall configuration, IDS/IPS, NAC, access control
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, SD-WAN)
- Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional IT team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a customer-service mindset
