Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Selection of appropriate tools, methods and design patterns to design user interactions with and experiences of a product, system or service.
- Translation of concepts into outputs and prototypes and capture of user feedback or evaluation to improve designs.
- Evaluation of alternative design options and recommending designs taking into account performance, security, usability and accessibility requirements.
- Interprets and follows visual design and branding guidelines to create a consistent and impactful user experience.
Essential criteria
1.Demonstrated extensive experience creating end-to-end user journey / experience maps across different products, processes, or services.
2.Ability to run user experience designer lab.
3.Experience interpreting NPS (Net Promoter Score) or other customer satisfaction surveys.
4.Experience facilitating user-centred design and design thinking workshops.
5.Experience working in an Agile delivery team.
6.Ability to evaluate alternative design options and recommend designs taking into account performance, security, usability and accessibility requirements.
Desirable criteria
1.Recognised qualifications in UI/UX Design or aligned tertiary specialisation.
2.Demonstrated hands on experience in UI/UX designing practices, policies and technologies.
3.Possess technical skills set that will enable working with various UI/UX applications and tools.
4.Demonstrated administrative and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise work, allocate tasks and to work independently when required.
