The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
This is a full time fixed term position that can be based in our Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide office locations with hybrid work from home available.
We are looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for driving agile delivery in a fast-paced environment. Join Ahpra’s Business Transformation Program and play a pivotal role in transformative agile sprint execution aligned with our transformation delivery roadmap. As Scrum Master, you will have a high level attention to detail, collaborate closely with delivery teams, champion scrum events and proactively ensure completion of all scrum based activities.
In this role you will:
Be part of an exciting transformation program which is business-led and technology-enabled, focused on improving how we work, interact, and deliver value through innovative solutions like Salesforce.
- Lead and facilitate scrum events to ensure sprint goals are achieved and delivery aligns with our transformation roadmap.
- Champion agile practices and coach teams to embed principles across the organisation, driving agile maturity.
- Proactively manage Jira/Confluence artefacts, maintain workflow hygiene, and remove impediments to keep delivery on track.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to plan, prioritise, and report on progress using dashboards and metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, adaptability, and operational excellence.
As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience facilitating scrum events and supporting sprint teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and advanced use of Jira/Confluence.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
- Scrum Master certification and experience with Salesforce are highly desirable.
