Senior Lead DevOps Engineer (Python & Rundeck)
Contract 6 months rolling
Location Dubai
I am currently working with a leading financial market firm seeking a Senior Lead DevOps Engineer with expertise in building Python jobs in Enterprise Rundeck. As part of a team of DevOps and Integration engineers, you will focus on delivering process and task automation capabilities, developing integrations to rapidly enable automation opportunities using industry-standard tools.
Required Skills:
- Strong Python scripting and Rundeck exposure
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Automation with AWS and Systems Management, producing reusable scripts and programs in Terraform, Python, or Ansible
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Familiarity with Git for code base management; experience with GitLab CI is a plus
- Proven track record in identifying, quantifying, and realizing business value through IT-enabled business transformation and service management innovation initiatives
- Familiarity with RunDeck, Datadog, and/or BigPanda
- Experience integrating systems using REST APIs
- Expertise in building scalable, high-performance systems for large customer-facing applications
- Experience in enterprise-wide deployment planning and support for critical applications during major releases, both business and infrastructure-related
