The Head of Global Account Management leads the Global Expansion team within the region. Your mission is to coach and develop a team of Global Account Managers (GAMs) and National Account Managers (NAMs) to ensure exceptional revenue retention, renewal success, and aggressive growth across multinational accounts. You will drive global alignment across Sales, Ops, Legal, Finance, and Product, owning team performance, sales governance, and seamless cross-country execution.
About The Role
- Strategic Leadership: Translate Maltâs global strategy into actionable team priorities, territory mapping, and account allocations
- Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop team members to elevate their global execution, ensuring a culture of high performance and accountability
- Sales Governance: Lead rigorous forecasting reviews, ensuring deep MEDDIC discipline, pipeline quality, and impeccable CRM accuracy
- Deal Strategy & Support: Partner with GAMs on complex negotiations and renewal strategies. You will join strategic client meetings to build rapport with Champions and secure access to Economic Buyers
- Global Expansion: Oversee the deployment of Malt across different countries and entities, identifying and removing operational blockers to ensure contract revenue realization
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the bridge between your team and Ops, Legal, Finance, and Product to approve commercial strategies for major global MSAs and RFPs
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively identify risks in account health or pipeline and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are hit or exceeded
- Insight Advocacy: Bring frontline client insights to the Executive Committee (ExCom) and Product teams to influence the future of the Malt platform
- Proven track record in coaching GAMs, building team capabilities, and driving consistent high performance in a leadership capacity
- Deep understanding of multi-country enterprise sales cycles, global procurement processes, and complex renewal structures
- Mastery of forecasting accuracy, sales governance, and process consistency within a CRM (Salesforce)
- Ability to provide strategic guidance on global opportunities and influence C-level stakeholders both internally and externally
- Experience aligning with Marketing, Product, and Finance to accelerate deals and resolve roadblocks
- Full professional fluency in English and German
- Willingness to travel for key client meetings and international events
