Having established a robust cyber security foundation in partnership with PHOENIX Group, we are now focused on enhancing our day-to-day operational resilience.
This role is ideal for a seasoned security specialist who thrives on optimising detection systems, managing incidents, and automating security processes—and who is ready to step up and lead the coordination of Pan-Baltic cyber initiatives across Tamro Baltic offices in Tallinn, Riga, and Kaunas.
If you’re looking to expand your impact beyond technical delivery and take on managerial responsibilities, this is your opportunity. The position offers a unique blend: approximately 60% hands-on delivery and 40% coordination and governance.
Hands-on delivery:
· Lead monthly vulnerability checks and drive risk-based fixes with system owners.
· Supervise patching performance and ensure systems and applications are kept up to date, prioritising high-risk items.
· Strengthen endpoint, identity, and email protection baselines; run targeted awareness exercises.
· Verify backup and recovery readiness; coordinate essential network hardening.
Coordination & governance:
· Serve as the Baltic interface to PHOENIX Group Security for centrally monitored incidents, ensuring local follow-up and escalation.
· Maintain a Baltic cyber task plan and publish monthly performance reports.
· Embed security policies into daily routines across EE/LV/LT IT teams; track exceptions and prepare audit evidence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior specialist who wants to remain close to technical topics while stepping up to lead and coordinate security efforts across the Baltics.
You bring:
· ~4+ years in security operations (SOC/IR/endpoint/identity/email) delivering measurable improvements.
· Proven strength with Microsoft security (M365 Defender, Azure AD/Entra, Intune) or equivalent (Okta/CrowdStrike/etc.) and a willingness to cross-train.
· PowerShell (or similar) scripting skills to automate and streamline routine tasks.
· ISO 27001 control execution that is pragmatic and outcome-focused (not policy only).
· Clear, confident communication and coordination across EE/LV/LT stakeholders.
· Nice to have: SC-200, AZ-500, CySA+, Security+, CISSP/CCSP (or in progress).
Why join us?
· Stay hands-on with real security tools and projects, while also stepping up to coordinate cyber efforts across all Baltic countries.
· See the results of your work in improved response times, stronger authentication coverage, and better vulnerability management—metrics you can actually influence.
· Grow your skills with support from Group Security experts, plus dedicated time and budget for certifications.
· Enjoy a flexible hybrid work setup, competitive pay, and a bonus for your impact.
